Lack of strategy slows AI adoption
NEW DELHI: Seven out of 10 IT professionals in India think that the lack of a strategy is the largest barrier firms face in developing explainable and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI), a report said yesterday.
Another greatest barrier to successful AI adoption is limited skills, expertise or knowledge (38%) for organisations exploring or deploying AI in the country.
“As the adoption of AI grows steadily, organisations in India are using AI to augment their core business processes and services” said Siddhesh Naik, of IBM India.
Globally, the AI adoption was up 4 percentage points compared with 2021.
